What is KidsPeace?

KidsPeace is a non-profit organization that delivers mental and behavioral health services.  While many of its services are designed to provide care for children and teens, KidsPeace programs also help adults and entire families overcome challenges and live healthier and happier lives.

KidsPeace services are provided on a “Continuum of Care,” including:

  • Intensive treatment options like inpatient hospital crisis intervention and psychiatric residential treatment programs
  • Outpatient and community-based services
  • Support for foster care families

The organization also offers the benefit of its expertise as a leading provider of mental and behavioral wellness programs through numerous public outreach efforts – such as social media posts, blog and podcast entries, and its confidential web-based therapeutic support service TeenCentral.com.

Each year, KidsPeace serves thousands of clients in its treatment and support programs, and reaches many more with its expertise-based outreach.

Where is KidsPeace located?

KidsPeace was founded in 1882 in Pennsylvania, today the location of KidsPeace Children’s Hospital and its largest residential treatment campus.  But it also provides residential, outpatient and foster care services in seven additional states – Georgia, Maine, New York, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Indiana.

For information on specific services in specific locations, click on the Services tab at the top of the page.

How can I help KidsPeace fulfill its mission and help our kids?

In many ways!

Thanks in advance for your support!
